INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION AT ABHYUDAY SCHOOL – 2017

“Nothing is more precious than Independence and Liberty”

Independence Day is a celebration of our freedom, a homage paid to the freedom fighters and strugglers, reminder to the youth, of the sacrifices of our forefathers. Abhyuday celebrated the 71st Independence Day at the school campus with much joy, pride and zeal.

The programme started with the welcoming ceremony of our Chief Guest Dr. Arun Kumar Shrivastava. It was an honour to have Dr. Arun K Shrivastava accompanied with Mr. Sapan Chopda, Mrs. Shweta Chopda, Ms. Shreya Chopda and Mrs. Dipanwita Jain on this special day. Followed by unfurling the tricolor flag and grand salute from Abhyuday Family, the colourful programme began. Hon’ble Principal, Mr. S C Verma, addressed the school with his inspirational and motivational speech on the duties of every individual which should be followed. He emphasized on the importance of education and knowledge to liberate one from the bondages of orthodox beliefs.

The event took ahead with a mesmerizing performance by the junior kids on a beautiful fusion song, a PT Drill with beautiful steps and patterns, a lovely song was presented by our talented kids and a dance performance based on the theme of Independence was presented by kids, which was extraordinarily delightful and heart-warming.

‘Atithi Devo Bhava,’ a beautiful speech was conveyed by our chief guest Dr Arun K Shrivastava after his felicitation. His inspirational words were a boost to everyone’s moralities.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets. It was, indeed, an unforgetful day and one amongst the many memorable days in the history of Abhyuday School.
